Description
The Church of St. Edward is seeking a faith-filled disciple to prepare our parish families for Baptism and to co-coordinate our Sunday School and Nursery programs. The Sunday duties would be split with our current co-coordinator into alternating weeks. This is a perfect position for someone looking to be involved with ministry without taking on a heavy schedule. We anticipate approximately 5 hours per week during the school year.
Essential Duties include:
- preparing and forming parents for baptism of a child
- attending Baptism liturgies
- serving as co-coordinator for the Sunday School and Nursery, dividing up weeks accordingly
- serving as Safe Environment Coordinator for parish volunteers (most of which can be done remotely)

Qualifications
- Must be a practicing Catholic.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Basic theological understanding.
- Must pass a background check.
