Description

Reporting to the Branch Mission Outreach Director, as the Branch Training Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your missionary zeal to transform families by ensuring the Branch has a strong team of volunteers who are critical to the implementation of The Cana Experience. You will recruit and equip Trainers through integral formation and training to serve their Facilitators as well as accompany Trainers by creating an environment which nurtures leadership skills. In collaboration with the Mission Outreach Director and a team of volunteers, you will organize key events that engage program participants, alumni and the community in deeper formation.

Responsibilities

  • Trainer Support and Accompaniment
    • Onboard new Trainers through Cana’s Onboarding and Orientation Process.
    • Check in regularly with each Trainer.
    • Plan, organize and implement the formation activities necessary for Trainers to lead their training sessions and support Facilitators.
  • Trainer Recruitment
    • Intentionally build relationships and recruit Trainers
    • Invite people into Cana’s mission.
    • Oversee Trainer discernment process.
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Manage all details for Monthly Facilitator Training Sessions.
    • Recruit and manage team of volunteers to assist with planning and execution of Cana Branch events: Leadership Launch, Retreats and Graduation.

Qualifications

  • Deep connection to Christ and the Catholic Church
  • Non-profit Catholic outreach ministry experience preferred
  • Strongly relational/people focused
  • Team Player
  • Passion for the mission of strong Catholic marriages and families
  • Experience working with a team of dedicated volunteers
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Ability to travel throughout the Archdiocese
