Extended Day Aide

Join a thriving Catholic School extended day program, partner with our existing excellent extended day staff, and an amazing, supportive group of mission-focused teachers, administrators and staff.

1. Knowledge of school age child development, and knowledge/experience planning and implementing activities for school age children (grades K-5).
2. Must be at least 16 years of age and be able to lift 25-40 pounds if needed.
3. An ability to effectively supervise and plan experiences for school age children.
4. Ability to work within a teaching team and ability to work with various age groups.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students and other staff members.
6. Ability to work as a team player with the Saint Ambrose Catholic School and Parish staff and administration to promote the mission of the parish, school and extended day program.
7. Ability to effectively maintain a classroom environment and implement classroom management techniques.
