Through our medical clinic and Haven programs, we offer pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, client advocacy, education, mentoring, material support, reproductive recovery services, fatherhood programs, and community resources designed to empower women and families to thrive.

At SouthWest Options for Women, we believe that Every Heartbeat Matters, and we are committed to serving each client with dignity, compassion, and excellence.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Community Engagement Coordinator serves as an ambassador for SouthWest Options for Women by strengthening relationships with donors, churches, businesses, volunteers, and community partners. This dynamic role combines community outreach, donor stewardship, event coordination, administrative support, strategic communication, and marketing initiatives.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an energetic, relationship-focused professional who enjoys serving others, learning new skills, and finding creative ways to advance our mission. This person is naturally organized, embraces technology, and takes initiative by anticipating needs before they arise.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be personable, enthusiastic, and enjoy building relationships throughout the community.
  • Think ahead, take initiative, and look for ways to strengthen the organization rather than waiting for direction.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to completion while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Be highly organized and able to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and enjoy learning new software and technology.
  • Be willing to learn and appropriately use AI-powered tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, create professional communications, and support organizational growth. Training and support will be provided.
  • Be confident creating presentations, reports, marketing materials, donor communications, and other professional documents.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and think creatively when challenges arise.
  • Be adaptable, resourceful, and eager to continually learn and grow.
  • Work well independently while collaborating effectively with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Represent SouthWest Options for Women with professionalism, integrity, compassion, and a genuine passion for our life-affirming mission.
