Saint John the Baptist Catholic School is seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time Physical Education Teacher to inspire students in Preschool through Grade 8 to develop lifelong sportsmanship and a love of physical activity within a vibrant Catholic community.

What You'll Do

The Physical Education Teacher will:

• Teach engaging physical education classes for students in Preschool through Grade 8

• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, healthy competition, and lifelong fitness habits

• Plan developmentally appropriate lessons that teach skills in fitness, movement, games, and team sports

• Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment

• Monitor and maintain PE equipment and storage areas

• Assess student growth and provide meaningful feedback

• Partner with families and colleagues to support student success

• Loves working with children and loves physical activity and sports

• Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and positivity to every class

• Communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Is committed to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience teaching physical education (preferred)

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities

• Ability to model Christian values and contribute positively to the faith community
