Director of Operations / Business Administrator

Are you a servant leader with a sharp business mind and a heart for the Church? St. Maximilian Kolbe is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to oversee the temporal life of our parish. This includes all administrative operations such as personnel, facilities, finance, and IT, ensuring our structures and stewardship fully support our mission and serve our community. In this role, you will work closely with the Pastor, School Principal, Facility Manager, and Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations across two campuses and the academy; facilities, personnel, IT infrastructure, financials,  HR administration, and Diocesan Safe Environment compliance.
• Oversee the Accounting Manager; they are very skilled and handle all daily financial operations and transactional reporting.
• Oversee and collaborate with the Facility Manager.
• Help the team manage competing demands, discern priorities, optimize vendor and volunteer relationships, and maintain forward momentum.
• Facilitate and collaborate with the Pastor and committee on our post-Capital Campaign project list.

• A practicing Catholic in good standing who loves the Church and is excited to support the spiritual and operational mission of St. Maximilian Kolbe.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience in operations or business administration.
• Ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands across two campuses and the academy; discerning what to prioritize, what to outsource, and what to delegate.
• Must be able to pass a background check and Virtus training.
