Description
This position is responsible for teaching three sections of religion to our eighth grade students. The primary focus is on the moral theology of the Catholic Church, prayer, discipleship and the completion of the sacramental preparation for Confirmation. This position is also responsible for working with our Social Justice Club - providing youth with opportunities for service in the broader community.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must hold a BA or BS in education or Catholic Studies. Must be a practicing Catholic who understands Church teachings and is a strong witness of our Catholic Faith and Traditions for our students. Must have strong communication skills adn the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and parents. Must bring a positive attitude and commitment to student growth to this position.
