Assistant Teacher, 2026-27 school year, part time, Jordan MN

Saint John the Baptist Catholic School in Jordan is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled Assistant Teacher to work 2 hours each school day in the mornings with our wonderful 2nd and 3rd grade students during the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while partnering closely with our excellent teacher, Jennifer Klecker, in a joyful Catholic school environment.

The Assistant Teacher will help students with reading, writing, math, classroom activities, and other academic support throughout the morning. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, takes initiative, and brings positivity and encouragement to the classroom each day.

Qualifications:

• Must be a practicing Catholic
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to take direction and also problem solve independently
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
• Must be able to sit and stand throughout the school day
• Must be able to pass a background check
