Part-Time with Opportunity for Full-Time | Starting at $18.50/hour
Do you enjoy helping people and keeping things organized in a busy, faith-filled environment? Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church & School is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individual to join our parish staff as a Parish Receptionist & Office / Mailroom / Print Room Coordinator.
This position is an important part of our parish office and serves as one of the first points of contact for parishioners, visitors, and staff. Daily responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors, assisting with parish communications and mailings, coordinating print projects, maintaining office supplies, and supporting parish events and ministries. The role also helps with worship aids, funeral materials, parish mail, and general office support as needed.
We are looking for someone who communicates well, enjoys working with people, can manage multiple tasks, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Administrative office experience is required, and previous church experience is helpful but not necessary.
This is a part-time position working Monday and Tuesday, with opportunity for additional Friday hours and potential to grow into a full-time role. Starting pay is $18.50/hour and includes Safe & Sick Time benefits and eligibility for a 403(b)-retirement plan.

Qualifications
- Administrative office experience required
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous church or parish experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Practicing Roman Catholic, understanding and respecting Catholic doctrine and practices
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Able to pass required background check and complete required initial training
- Occasional evening/weekend availability as needed
