Mary Queen of Peace, Preschool Teacher Assistant Position/Preschool Extended Day

Mary Queen of Peace school is seeking a part-time Preschool Teacher Assistant in our licensed preschool program. This is M-F position from 11:45-5:00, and will provide support to the Lead Preschool Teacher in fostering a warm, loving, atmosphere and classroom supportive of our Catholic Mission. At Mary Queen of Peace School we aim to help all of our students be good, faithful, and productive citizens and even more importantly to know and love Jesus Christ.

Responsibility includes direction and overall supervision of a group of preschool children. 

Performs activities that ensure the safety, involvement, and creativity of each individual in the group.

Excellent interpersonal skills, and able to build relationships with school age children.

Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

The Preschool Assistant teacher works with the Lead Teacher to support the full development ages 3-4 and the parents we serve. 

This position will lead the Preschool Extended Day program, planning and caring for our students that sign up for our Extended Day program. (2:45-5:00) 

11:45 -5:00 (everyday, M-F)

Competitive compensation. 19.50-21.00 depending on experience.
