Position Overview
St. Jude of the Lake Catholic School is seeking a full-time 4th Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. This position is ideal for an educator who loves working with students at a pivotal stage of growth and takes joy in forming both the mind and character of young learners.
Fourth grade is an important year in the development of strong habits of learning. Students are expected to grow in reading comprehension, writing, and mathematical thinking while taking greater ownership of their learning. This position plays a key role in helping students think clearly, communicate effectively, and develop the habits necessary for long-term success.
In this role, you will lead a self-contained classroom, teaching core subjects while helping students develop clarity in thinking, confidence in communication, and pride in their work. You will be responsible for creating a structured, engaging classroom environment where students can focus, grow, and thrive.

Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep love for His Church
- Ability to deliver clear, engaging, and well-organized lessons
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Experience teaching at the 3rd–5th grade level in a Catholic school
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Catholic studies, the humanities, or a related field
