Middle School Teacher- English/Language Arts

Nativity of Mary School is seeking a Middle School English/Language Arts (6th, 7th, and 8th grade) and 7th Grade Advisory educator starting in the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must be student-centered, have high expectations, and an enthusiastic approach to working with students and their families.

The mission of Nativity of Mary Nativity of Mary Catholic School is to provide a Catholic education that fosters academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth while preparing students to become impactful members of our community and world. We aim to inspire our children to become the saints of the future! We’re a two homeroom per grade level, preschool-8th grade institution dedicated to our vocation as Catholic educators, who work together to help our students be the best they can be!

Our New Middle School Team member will:

• Provide an engaging learning environment where students understand and meet expectations
• Design engaging lessons that support and enhance our curriculum
• Maintain high academic standards, while challenging each student to always do their best
• Instill strong character, Catholic values, and a love for learning
• Work with students who have IEPs or need accommodations to reach their full potential
• Be committed to continually developing skills and improving as a teacher
• Partner with our parents and other staff members to ensure the success of each student
• Honor and support school initiatives, administrative decisions, the vision of our archdiocese, and the Catholic Church
• Participate as a member of the faculty team in professional development, committee responsibilities, and school initiatives.

• A minimum BA or BS Degree and a current MN Teaching License correspond with the courses taught.
• Strong dedication to the mission of Catholic Education
• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience integrating technology into both instruction and learning
• Willingness to collaborate to plan instruction and make data-driven decisions
