Morning Preschool Care Coordinator

St. Mark’s Preschool in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Morning Preschool Care Coordinator for Preschool students, ages 3-5 years old, for approximately 9 hours per week.

Monday-Friday 6:45am-8:30am on days that preschool is in session.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create a safe & loving, positive, Christ-like atmosphere in which each child’s personal dignity is respected.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, clean, and safe space where the children are supervised and protected from harm.
• Welcome families and manage child drop-offs
• Engage the students in indoor play as they arrive
• Help the children learn conflict and social emotional skills
• Communicate necessary information to other preschool teachers or the director 
• Complete all of the opening tasks necessary to ensure the preschool is ready for the day

• Be at least 18 years of age 
• Able to walk, squat, kneel, move around and possibly lift up to 50 pounds
• College credits or experience in early childhood preferred 
• Possess passion and skills necessary to provide loving, faith filled, and consistent care for  3-5 year old's
• Possess excellent communication skills to speak with parents about positive and difficult things
• Complete background check, code of conduct, and Virtus training once hired.
• Complete all of the MN state childcare licensing requirements upon hire.
