Music Coordinator/Accompanist

Saint Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale is seeking a Music Coordinator/Accompanist to lead and support the parish’s music ministry. Responsibilities include coordinating music selections, planning and rehearsing with cantors and the choir, recruiting and scheduling musicians, and accompanying weekend Masses (Saturday 5:00 pm and Sunday 8:30 am and 10:30 am), as well as weddings, funerals, and holy days as needed. Candidates should be proficient at the keyboard and able to support congregational singing at Mass.

The role is designed to be manageable alongside other commitments. Coordinating runs approximately 6 hours per week at $27/hour, and accompanying is paid per Mass. Taken together, a candidate who fills the full role, playing all weekend Masses and handling the coordinating hours, can expect compensation of roughly $25,000 per year. The coordinator and accompanist roles may also be filled separately if preferred.
