Assistant to Catechesis of the Good Shepard preschool through 3rd grade.

Position Overview:

Catechist assistant to the Catechesis of the Good Shepard Lead Techer.  This position will assist in teaching preschool through 3rd grade.  This is a part-time position requiring approximately 4-5 hours of work per week, averaging 28 weeks on Sunday mornings during the school year plus the work spans the Faith Formation calendar year on Wednesday evenings.

• Must be a practicing Catholic.
• Certification in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Level I (preschool), and Level II Preferred.
• Three years’ experience preferred working in a similar environment.
• Ability to help plan and deliver CGS curriculum.
• Understand the practices, policies and procedures involved in a Catholic Church.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
