Help Shape the Future of a Thriving Parish & School Community
Good Shepherd Catholic Church & School is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant parish and school community.
This leadership position partners closely with the Pastor, staff, volunteers, and parish leaders to ensure our facilities, business operations, communications, finances, human resources, and administrative systems support the mission of the parish. What You’ll Do
As Director of Operations, you will:
- Lead the daily business and administrative operations of the parish.
- Oversee parish facilities, maintenance, campus security, and capital improvement projects.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, purchasing, and major facility projects.
- Supervise office, custodial, maintenance, and contracted service providers.
- Partner with third-party providers on accounting, payroll, benefits, and human resources.
- Ensure compliance with Archdiocesan, state, and federal regulations.
- Support parish communications, technology, events, volunteer engagement, and stewardship efforts.
- Collaborate with parish leadership, committees, and volunteers to create a safe, welcoming, and well-managed campus.

- Enjoys leading teams while building positive relationships.
- Can confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Is an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Thinks strategically while also enjoying hands-on problem solving.
- Is comfortable making decisions and improving systems and processes.
- Has experience in operations, facilities management, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Practicing Roman Catholic with knowledge of and commitment to the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.

Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday-Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for parish events and meetings
