Third Grade Teacher

Notre Dame Academy, a regional Catholic school in Minnetonka, MN, is seeking a full-time 3rd grade teacher to join our dynamic faculty team. We are looking for a joyful teacher who has excellent classroom management, communicates effectively, develops a positive rapport with students, staff, and parents and helps each student flourish and experience success.

• BA or BS degree with a current MN teaching license
• Be committed to academic excellence and a willingness to meet the educational and social emotional needs of the individual student
• Preferred experience with the Groves reading program
• Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines.
• Establish and maintain a classroom climate that is conducive to learning.
• Follow Minnesota standards and use selected school wide curriculum, supplementing when necessary.
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instruction/resources accordingly.
• Experience with technology in the classroom, Cleverboard, iPad and Macbook
• This position requires that the employee be a practicing Catholic
• Complete Virtus Essential 3 training
