Preschool Aide/Facilitator and CGS Catechist

St. Timothy's Catholic School in Maple Lake, Minnesota is now accepting applications for a Preschool 3 yr. old Facilitator 2 Day and a Preschool Aide 3 Days (CGS Catechist for a part of 2 of those days ) for the 2026-27 school year.   We are a vibrant, joyful Catholic School with approximately 160 students.  Our Catholic mission permeates everything we do. We are looking for a joyful, motivated educator who understands the formative needs of young preschoolers.  This is a great opportunity for someone training to be a preschool teacher and/or CGS catechist.  Tuition to St. Mary's University Winona is free to Catholic School employees in the Archdiocese of St. Paul Minneapolis.  We will pay for CGS training and train you to implement our curriculum as a assistant two days a week.  As a Archdiocesan employee, you are also eligible for free tuition to St. Mary's University Winona. 

FTE (Full Time Equivalent) 40 hours per week--7:45-2:45 with the added duties of a few hours a week of being in our Little Saints club (either before school starts 7:00-8:00 or after school 2:45-3:30--need 4 hours to get to 40 FTE).  Work schedule to follow the St.  Timothy Academic Calendar or as assigned by school administration.

Experience in and/or training for an educational setting and with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is preferred, as well as an understanding of the mission of a traditional Catholic school.  Our preschool director will provide modeling (Tuesdays) and guidance for the facilitation of the 3 year olds. The candidate will need to be able to take directions from and collaborate with the classroom teacher as well as  help students work towards the completion stated curricular goals.
