Job Description:
Divine Mercy Catholic School is seeking a dynamic Catholic teacher eager to become part of our community of faith; dedicated to the development of the whole child-mind, body, and soul.
The current open position is in a 5th grade classroom. The preferred candidate should have an excitement for teaching English/Language Arts and Social Studies.
This includes:
Taking pride in their job as a Catholic School teacher and seeing their work as contributing to the mission of our church.
Maintaining high academic standards, while challenging each student to do their best.
Instilling strong character, Catholic values, and a love for learning in their students.
Being committed to continually developing their skills and improving as a teacher.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Hold a minimum of a BA/BS from an accredited institution in education.
Practicing Roman Catholic
The ideal candidate will have:
Dedication to the mission of Catholic Education
Strong classroom management skills
Flexible, adaptable to change
Experience integrating technology into both instruction and learning (use of SMART Boards, PC’s, iPads,etc.)
Willingness to collaborate to plan instruction and make data-driven decisions
A strong work ethic balanced with the ability to laugh and share the joy of learning.
