Description
The Churches of St. Michael and St. Mary in Stillwater are looking for a creative, service-oriented self-starter to fill the role of Communications Coordinator. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, and skilled multitasker who can manage digital and print communications while providing exceptional hospitality and administrative support to parishioners, visitors, staff, and clergy. To be successful in this role the candidate should be a committed Catholic with an understanding of the liturgical calendar and appreciation for Church tradition.
This 36-hour-per-week, benefits-eligible role is ideal for someone who is skilled at writing, editing, graphic design, website management, and collaborating with staff to connect people to the mission of the Church. Representative responsibilities include managing parish publications and email communications, overseeing website and social media content, event promotion, preparing liturgy guides, administrative support for the priest, and supervision of the volunteer front desk staff at the Church of St. Michael.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and web tools preferred.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
