Description
The Church of St. Edward is seeking a seasoned leader to supervise, coordinate, and/or perform the administrative functions and ministries relating to stewardship, finance, human resources, technology, and facility maintenance for the parish. Guided by Christian values, high personal ethics, and proven business skills, the Parish Administrator conducts the business affairs of the parish in a manner that reduces the administrative burden on the Pastor and provides leadership and support for the administrative decisions of St. Edward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Report directly to the Pastor and provide leadership for the development and implementation of ministries, processes, policies and procedures to effectively achieve St. Edwards’ Vision, while working in collaboration with the Pastor, Parish Council, Finance Council, Stewardship Committee and Administration Commission.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Pastor with the authority to act on administrative and financial issues, keeping the Pastor informed of such actions. The Parish Administrator will make every effort to carry out the initiatives set forth by the Pastor.
- Manage the financial and administrative resources of the parish.
- Manage all facets of human resources.
- Manage the physical plant and maintenance resources.

Qualifications
- BA or BS, with a concentration in business management or extensive work experience in business management, preferably in the non-profit area.
- Knowledge of and proven ability in financial management, including accounting and budget responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience with staff supervision and human resource management.
- Working knowledge of construction and issues related to physical plant and facility maintenance.
