Physical Education Teacher

Transfiguration Catholic School in Oakdale is seeking a joyful, energetic, and faith-filled physical education teacher who is passionate about educating students and fostering their holistic development.

The ideal candidate would deliver a vibrant physical education program that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. A successful candidate is dedicated to Catholic education, attentive to students' individual needs, collaborative, and organized.  In addition to physical education classes, the ideal candidate would be the athletic director overseeing our collaborative athletics program.

This is a full-time position; however, we are open to discussing a part-time position for the right person.

Transfiguration Catholic School is close-knit parish school.  Student formation is central to our mission - To lead all those in the East Metro to Christ, the Source and Summit of our daily and eternal lives.

• Active, participating Catholic, preferred
• Have and maintain a current Minnesota teaching license in the level and/or area of specialty in which they teach; or satisfy the MNSAA requirements.
• Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of Catholic doctrine, along with a commitment to the mission of Transfiguration.
• Work in partnership with the broader school and parish staff to further the mission of Transfiguration and the formation of students.
• Possess strong communication and technology skills
