Description

Position Summary

This role combines program execution, donor stewardship, and event management. It carries the day-to-day work that keeps the advancement office running: the annual scholarship appeal, donor acknowledgments and stewardship communications, alumni communications, and all fundraising and community events.

Key Responsibilities

Advancement Committee

  • Visibility at school and parish events
  • Coordinate Advancement Committee meetings, materials, and follow-up in partnership with the Parish Administrator and volunteer committee chairs
  • Coordinate regular advancement team meetings to align parish and school leadership and advancement team goals
  • Support committee-led initiatives, events, and fundraising activities

Events

  • Coordinate fundraising events, including sponsorships and logistics
    • SeptemberFest
    • Jogathon
    • Trivia Night
    • Dancing with the Annunciation Stars
    • Auction
    • Annual Golf Tournament
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, registrations, and vendor relationships
  • Recruit, coordinate, and collaborate with volunteers, including Annunciation Parent Organization
  • Collaborate with school and parish staff on community events
  • Support donor cultivation receptions and recognition events
  • Coordinate event communications and promotional materials
  • Evaluate event outcomes and recommend improvements

Fundraising

  • Coordinate the annual Help-a-Student Scholarship and Annual Fund Appeals
  • Lead parish annual stewardship campaign
  • Prepare appeal materials and donor communications
  • Track campaign performance
  • Prepare scholarship stewardship reports

Donor Stewardship

  • Write and manage gift acknowledgments
  • Assist with donor recognition
  • Prepare stewardship communications and impact reports
  • Maintain donor database records

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Experience in nonprofit development, events, or program coordination
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills 
  • Relationship builder, self-starter with leadership capacity
  • Proficient in Salesforce or comparable software
  • Familiarity with Catholic education and parish life
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
