Description

Job Purpose: The Office Manager will:

  1. Assist the Pastor and the Office Manager in administrative aspects of the parish.
  2. Manage the parish's means of communication.
  3. Work with the Pastor to increase engagement in the parish and with the local community.
  4. Ensure confidentiality in all matters.

  Duties & Responsiblities

  1. *Commincations
    1. Assist with general office tasks
    2. Manage parish website
    3. Prepare the weekly Bulletin
    4. Maintain Bulletin Boards
    5. Create flyers for upcoming events
  2. *Outreach
    1. Work with the Pastor to:
      1. Engage more parishioners in the parish’s life
      2. Reach out to fallen away Catholics
      3. Engage non-Catholics with our parishes
    2. Engage local organizations to better facilitate engagement from others.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent administrative and organization skills
  2. Demonstrated high-level writing and communication skills
  3. General knowledge and respect of the Catholic Faith.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and  Canva.
  5. Computer skills to manage a website.
  6. Demonstrates willingness to work on tasks which may be unexpected and not necessarily related to specified duties.
