4th Grade Teacher

Transfiguration is seeking an energetic and loving 4th grade teacher for the 2026-27 academic year.  The ideal candidate will be an active, practicing Catholic committed to joyfully witnessing the Catholic faith to young people.  Candidates will demonstrate a mission-driven approach, along with the ability to deliver instruction aligned with school curriculum and a commitment to student growth.

• Possess a BA degree in Education or a related field.
• Possess and maintain a current Minnesota teaching license in the level and/or area of specialty in which they teach or satisfy the MNSAA requirements.
• Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of Catholic doctrine, promote the mission of Transfiguration and desire to be a positive and productive member of the staff.
• Successfully complete the Essential 3 requirements – Virtus training, background check, and Code of Conduct.
• Possess the ability to communicate positively with Transfiguration students, parents, staff, administration, parishioners, and the broader community as an ambassador of Transfiguration.
• Computer skills that include the use of Microsoft products, student grading and management software, email, and internet-based programs.
