Section Leader – Soprano

Holy Family Catholic Church in Saint Louis Park is looking for a soprano section leader for the Sacred Music Program.

Section leaders will be expected provide leadership when singing with the Parish Choir at the following times:

7-9pm Thursday Parish Choir rehearsal (September through Corpus Christi).

9am Mass (year-round) with the Parish Choir.

11am Mass (year-round) as a member of the four-voice professional Schola.

Special Masses and Services as needed  (Holy Week, Messiah Concert,  Christmas, Solemnities/Holy Days of Obligation throughout the year).

$80 per Mass, $100 per rehearsal ($260 per normal week, ~$13,000 per year). Additional cantoring opportunities (weddings, funerals) may be available for additional compensation.

Qualified applicants will be proficient in sight reading and exhibit great musicianship in Gregorian Chant, sacred polyphony, and hymnody.
