Description
Our Lady of Grace Catholic School is seeking a caring, positive, proactive, organized, collaborative, efficient, and faithful music teacher. Successful Teachers enjoy the work of teaching, are able to balance and prioritize many needs at one time, remain calm and patient under pressure, and establish and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Along with our current music teacher, this teacher would provide music instruction each week to our upper elementary and middle school students, along with directing the middle school choir, and overseeing the 8th grade play.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Passion for music education
- Proven experience working with children
- Effective oral and written communication
- Familiarity with educational systems
- Understanding of child development
- Current Teaching License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practicing Catholic
- Responsive Classroom Training
- Experience with Catholic Liturgical Music
