Description
Our Lady of Peace School seeks a dynamic, faith-filled Middle School Science Teacher (grades 6–8) who is passionate about hands-on, inquiry-based instruction and committed to integrating Catholic identity into the science classroom. This educator will design and deliver rigorous units while nurturing students’ spiritual growth and stewardship of God’s creation.
Compensation based on years of experience, licensure, and education: $37,000-$59,000.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or related field; valid Minnesota teaching licensure in Biology, General Science, or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience with inquiry-based and lab-oriented instruction in middle school settings.

A practicing Catholic in good standing who can articulate and embody Catholic teachings on creation, stewardship, and ethics.

Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative, growth-mindset approach.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnership with parents and colleagues.
