Description
Does helping people belong and furthering the mission of a Catholic Parish give you energy and joy? Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and School is looking for an organized, mission-minded, person focused individual to serve as our Coordinator of Mission.
The Coordinator of Mission has three principle responsibilities: to promote and support a lived expression of our mission and vision, to lead our small group movement, and to grow a culture of evangelization in our parish. This position will work daily with volunteers and staff to grow missionary disciples as well as welcome in new parishioners and seekers through various ministry offerings. Everyday this position will help people to feel like they belong and invite parishioners into a lived relationship with Jesus.
Holy Name of Jesus is looking for someone who is people-focused while also being organized and thoughtful about process. The Coordinator of Mission should bring a great deal of energy to further the ministries of HNOJ that support and fulfill the mission. HNOJ is looking for someone who can work collaboratively and cooperatively with others as well as work alone at times.
This is a full-time position working Sundays through Thursdays with some evenings and weekends. Salaried position paying $45,000 - $54,000 depending on experience and qualifications and benefits mentioned (health, vacation, sick time, 403B retirement plan with 3% match).

Qualifications
- Approachable, hospitable, and engaging.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to relate to a variety of age groups.
- Ability to connect, collaborate, and form effective partnerships with multiple personality types.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Theology and/or Catholic Studies is preferred or some related field.
- Practicing Catholic with a strong knowledge and appreciation of the Catholic faith.
- Ability to pass background check and complete required initial training.
- Regular evening/weekend availability
