5th Grade Teacher: 2026-2027 School Year

We are seeking a 5th grade teacher with a strong focus on mathematics as a core subject. In our 5th and 6th grade model, teachers collaborate and rotate students for core subject instruction. This position will serve as a 5th grade homeroom teacher while specializing in teaching mathematics to both 5th and 6th grade students.

Teaching religion and other homeroom core subjects is also desired.

This is an opportunity to be part of a wonderful, collaborative team of educators in our 5th and 6th grade wing, within a vibrant and supportive Catholic elementary school serving students from PreK through 6th grade.

• A minimum BA or BS Degree and a current MN Teaching License are required.
• Exhibit competence in instructional methods and knowledge of the subject matter being taught.
• A practicing Catholic, passionate about his or her faith (preferred)
• Commitment to the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of students.
• Demonstrate evidence of strong and effective classroom management techniques.
• Desire to work within a team and ability to maintain a positive atmosphere with colleagues.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with the school, students, staff, and parents.
• Experience with technology in the classroom, Google Suite, Macbook, Chromebooks, etc.
