About the Opportunity
Are you someone who enjoys supporting events, helping people feel welcome, and ensuring spaces are safe and clean? St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church is seeking a dependable and hospitable Site Supervisor to provide evening and weekend facility support during parish events and rentals.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands on, is attentive to details, and wants to be part of a faith filled and welcoming environment. Hours and shifts will vary depending on events.

What You’ll Do
Onsite Event Supervision
- Serve as the onsite point of contact during events, receptions, and facility rentals
- Open the building and prepare event spaces as needed
- Greet guests, answer questions, and support users throughout their event
Safety and Security
- Monitor the building and address any safety or behavior concerns
- Handle light maintenance issues such as adjusting HVAC, restocking supplies, or managing spills
- Secure all areas after events including locking doors, turning off lights, and setting alarms
Custodial and Facility Support
- Keep shared spaces clean during and after events
- Take out trash, clean restrooms, mop floors, and tidy gathering areas
- Report any damages, incidents, or maintenance needs to the Facilities Care Coordinator

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in hospitality, custodial work, or facility support is a plus
Skills and Abilities
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Familiar with basic building systems (lighting, thermostats, door locks)
- Effective communicator who enjoys working with people
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, standing, climbing stairs, or working outdoors
- Comfortable responding to urgent or unexpected facility needs
- Maintains professionalism in all types of event settings
