Notre Dame Academy is seeking a full-time kindergarten teacher to join our dynamic faculty team. We are looking for a joyful teacher who has excellent classroom management, communicates effectively, develops a positive rapport with students, staff, and parents and helps each student flourish and experience success.

• BA or BS degree with a current MN teaching license
• Committed to academic excellence and a willingness to meet the educational and social emotional needs of the individual student
• Preferred experience with the science of reading or Groves reading program
• Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines
• Establish and maintain a classroom climate that is conducive to learning
• Active participation in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
• Follow Minnesota standards and use selected school wide curriculum, supplementing when necessary
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instruction/resources accordingly
• This position requires that the teacher be a practicing Catholic
• Successful completion of background check
