1st Grade Teacher: 2026-2027 School Year

Good Shepherd School is seeking a 1st Grade Teacher. This full-time teaching position directs and challenges students with the appropriate subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as creative, productive, divergent and convergent thinkers directed by the Good Shepherd School Mission Statement.

Good Shepherd is located in the heart of the west metro in Golden Valley. We foster a strong sense of community and faith and are looking forward to someone joining our vibrant team.

• A minimum BA or BS Degree and a current MN Teaching License are required.
• Exhibit competence in instructional methods and knowledge of the subject matter being taught.
• A practicing Catholic, passionate about his or her faith (preferred)
• Commitment to the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of students.
• Demonstrate evidence of strong and effective classroom management techniques.
• Desire to work within a team and ability to maintain a positive atmosphere with colleagues.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with the school, students, staff, and parents.
• Experience with technology in the classroom, Google Suite, Macbook, Chromebooks, etc.
