Description

St. Maximilian Kolbe Academy is seeking a full-time third grade teacher to join our school community for the 2026-2027 school year. We are searching for a teacher who is filled with a joyful commitment to helping students grow in faith, wonder, and knowledge.

St. Maximilian Kolbe School is a fully accredited school, Preschool through 8th Grade, dedicated to the mission of partnering with families in the development of the whole child by nurturing them in holiness and academics to live the truth, beauty, and goodness of the Catholic faith.

Qualifications

 

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to apply understanding of child development (physical, emotional, and academic) in classroom
  • Ability to interact and clearly communicate with children, parents, and staff members
  • Ability to create a meaningful, inviting learning environment to meet the needs of our students in partnership with families
  • Current Minnesota Department of Education Teaching Licensure (or pending) preferred
  • Strong expertise in effective teaching of phonics; Groves certification preferred
