Description
Saint Ignatius in Annandale is seeking a pianist to play and accompany for all weekend Masses at Saint Ignatius. This would be for the Saturday 5:00 PM Mass and the 8:30 and 10:30 AM on Sunday morning Masses. Music selection is flexible and Saint Ignatius is very grateful for any help able to be provided.
Qualifications
1. One to three years parish music experience preferred.
2. Minimum education: Proven advanced piano training
3. Keyboard proficiency
4. Learned ability to read all types of music and guitar chords.
5. Training, knowledge and understanding of Roman Catholic liturgies.
6. Training or experience in working with choirs, cantors and ensembles.
7. Knowledge in writing instrumental parts for hymns.
8. Learned ability to adapt key signatures for various instruments
9. Pass required background check, complete required initial training, and maintain current
Essential 3 (E3) requirement of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis.
10. Maintain current, required employee safety training.
