Description

All Saints Catholic Church & School has an opportunity for a flexible and energetic individual who enjoys working with staff and parishioners. The ideal candidate for this position is outgoing, personable, warm, well-organized and creative. This position will be responsible for building our Welcoming Ministries focused on new parishioners, returning parishioners and visitors to our parish community. In addition, they will become the lead coordinator for several parish service programs. Through this role, they will help parishioners find opportunities to share their time and talents within All Saints. This part-time position has 25-30 scheduled hours per week.

  • Develop and practice strategies and procedures for welcoming the parish community
  • Recruit volunteers for ministry needs.
  • Manage volunteer administrative systems and maintain accurate records according to policies.
  • Onboard and train volunteers.
  • Maintain internal database for required training and documents for volunteers and staff.
  • Assist at our Welcome Desk one Sunday per month.

Qualifications

  1. Possess reasonable knowledge of Catholic doctrine and traditions.
  2. HS diploma and professional office experience.
  3. Strong organizational skills with proven attention to detail.
  4. Customer service, project management, or general recruiting experience.
  5. Competency in meeting needs of position in a flexible schedule environment, including being present during required core hours.
  6. Demonstrated computer literacy with an ability to learn software programs. Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, and Outlook) competency required.  Microsoft Access literacy preferred.
  7. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  8. Collaborative work style and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  9. Ability to follow all guidelines of the parish Employee Handbook.
