School Age Care Staff – 15-20 hours/week school year, 20-40 hours/week for summer

St. Therese Catholic School in Deephaven, MN. is in search of joyful, energetic staff to work in our busy but fun summer program.  St. Therese Catholic School staff are responsible for helping to create a positive learning environment where students grow cognitively, physically, spiritually and emotionally.  Fun summer activities planned include field trips, walks around our beautiful campus, visits to the local beaches and parks as well as balancing some quiet time to recharge.  School year responsibilities include helping students with homework, snack and free play time.  Staff will work cooperatively with the directors and other staff members to provide for an efficient, safe and effective environment for children in keeping with the mission of the organization.

School year hours will be 15 - 20 hours/week starting at 2:00pm with additional hours available if desired.

Summer hours will be up to 40 hours/week, with a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate for this position recognizes the value of learning through play and various experiences, has a passion for outdoor learning, demonstrates strong student behavior management skills and appreciates community and collaboration. A successful record of student interaction and a solid foundation in the Catholic faith are key.
