Preschool Teacher for Nature Based Program

St. Therese Catholic School in Deephaven, MN. is in search of a joyful, energetic preschool teacher to teach in a nature based, play based program. A St. Therese Catholic School teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning environment where students grow cognitively, physically, spiritually and emotionally.  Preschool teachers will work cooperatively with the directors and other staff members to provide for an efficient, safe and effective environment for children in keeping with the mission of the organization.

This position is full time, year round.

Teacher qualified per DHS rule 3 regulations.  Four Year Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or State Teacher Certification or License preferred.

The ideal candidate for this position recognizes the value of learning through play and has a passion for outdoor learning, demonstrates strong classroom management skills and appreciates community and collaboration. A successful record of classroom instruction and a solid foundation in the Catholic faith are key.
