About the Opportunity
Do you enjoy being the steady hub of an organization where people, systems, and mission intersect? Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale is seeking an organized, welcoming, and highly capable Office Manager to support the daily operations of the parish office.
This role is central to parish life and ensures that administrative operations run smoothly across office management, communications, data systems, safe environment compliance, and financial process support. The Office Manager works closely with the Parish Administrator and provides day to day guidance to administrative staff while serving as a key point of contact for parishioners, ministry leaders, and visitors.

What Will You Do?
Office Administration and Operations
- Serve as the central operational hub of the parish office
- Maintain parish calendars, room scheduling, and office coverage
- Oversee filing systems, records, inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination
- Ensure a welcoming and responsive parish office environment
Administrative Staff Leadership
- Provide daily workflow direction and task coordination for the Office Assistant and Part Time Bookkeeper
- Ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of administrative work
- Create and maintain clear office procedures and documentation
Financial Process Support
- Oversee weekly receivables preparation workflow
- Coordinate contribution reports, ACH information, and credit card processing details
- Maintain data integrity in ParishSoft Giving and related systems
- Assist with year end contribution statements and reporting
Human Resources and Compliance Support
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee files and required documentation
- Support payroll preparation and coordination with Paycor
- Track staff changes, acknowledgments, and compliance requirements
Database and Records Management
- Serve as primary steward of the ParishSoft Family Directory
- Process registrations, updates, and sacramental records
- Run reports to support communications, stewardship, and ministry operations
Safe Environment Coordination
- Track compliance for staff and volunteers
- Maintain Virtus/Safe Environment files and renewal schedules
- Communicate requirements and follow up as needed
Communications and Parish Support
- Coordinate bulletin submissions and website updates
- Support communications production and content flow
- Provide administrative support for parish events, funerals, and sacramental celebrations

Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- Previous office management or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in a parish or nonprofit environment helpful
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with Microsoft Office and parish management systems
- Ability to learn ParishSoft, Paycor, and digital payment platforms
