Elementary Teacher (Fall 2026)

St. Maximilian Kolbe Academy is seeking a full-time teacher to join our school community for the 2026-2027 school year. We are searching for a teacher who is filled with a joyful commitment to helping students grow in faith, wonder, and knowledge.

St. Maximilian Kolbe School is a fully accredited school, Preschool through 8th Grade, dedicated to the mission of partnering with families in the development of the whole child by nurturing them in holiness and academics to live the truth, beauty, and goodness of the Catholic faith.

• Active, practicing Catholic committed to joyfully witnessing virtue and faith to students
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related discipline
• Enthusiasm and passion for teaching elementary school
• Skill in motivating and engaging students in the learning process with limited use of technology (we are a classical school)
• Experience in classroom management and ability to positively motivate students
• Ability to demonstrate a passion for a Catholic liberal arts/ classical education
• Experience effectively interacting and clearly communicating with children, parents, and staff members
• Current Minnesota Department of Education Teaching Licensure (or alternative credential) preferred
• Strong expertise in effective teaching of phonics; Groves certification preferred
