Ave Maria Academy, a vibrant Catholic school located in Maple Grove, rooted in Gospel values and committed to academic excellence, is seeking dedicated and joyful on-call Substitute Teachers to support our students Preschool - 8th grade and specialists, when regular teachers are unavailable. Candidates should have a strong commitment to Catholic education and a nurturing approach that supports students intellectual, moral, and spiritual formation of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans and instruction as provided by the classroom teacher.
• Create a respectful and orderly classroom environment in line with the school expectations.
• Maintain classroom order and ensure student safety at all times.
• Uphold and model the Catholic values and mission of the school throughout the day.

Experience in education, and or completion of the Archdiocese Substitute orientation training.  Sessions taking place on August 11 and 12 at Nativity of our Lord in St. Paul from 8:30-2:30. Click here to register

Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.

All candidates must complete and meet all VIRTUS qualifications.
