1st Grade Long Term Sub (August 2026 – Beginning of School Year)

Primary Objective

Teach and support students in a way that reflects the St. Wenceslaus mission, philosophy, and curriculum. You will help foster a safe, caring, faith-centered classroom where all learners can grow.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Education

• Valid Minnesota Teaching License (or relevant licensure eligibility)

• Strong instructional skills and content knowledge

• Effective classroom management

• Collaborative, positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

• Manage student behavior positively and consistently

• Model and support the faith life of the school

• Communicate kindly and professionally with students, families, and colleagues

• Participate in school events, celebrations, and professional development as needed

• Maintain accurate records (attendance, grades, assignments, etc.)

• Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity and student success
