Extended Day/After School Care

Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School is seeking a dependable, caring, and student-centered Extended Day Staff Member to support our after-school care program. This position plays an important role in providing a safe, welcoming, faith-filled, and engaging environment for students at the end of each school day.

The Extended Day Staff Member will supervise students, support structured and unstructured activities, assist with snack and daily transitions, and help ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and supported while in our care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is reliable and flexible, and is committed to creating a calm, positive, and respectful after-school environment.

• High school students welcome to apply/ 16+, provide own transportation
• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or recreational setting preferred.
• Ability to supervise groups of children while maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, patient, flexible, and collaborative.
• Ability to model Christian values and serve as a positive role model for students.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and actively supervise children indoors and outdoors.
• Must successfully complete a background check and meet all Safe Environment requirements of the Archdiocese.
• School-year position.
• Monday through Friday during after-school hours.
• $18.00 per hour.
