Lunchroom Food Prep & Dishwasher – 2026-2027 School Year

Good Shepherd School is seeking an energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individual to join our school lunch program! This role is needed Monday thru Friday from 10:30am to 1:30pm (some flexibility on window of time) to help with the end of our lunch period, clean up and preparing for the next day.

The Lunchroom Food Prep & Dishwasher supports the daily preparation and service of nutritious meals, helping foster a positive and organized lunch environment for students. This individual works closely with staff and volunteers to ensure meals are served safely, efficiently, and with care. This is a new role to our team to help make our kitchen run more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanup
• Set up, maintain, and clean food service areas
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards are followed
• Prepare and serve meals according to the daily and monthly menu, as needed
• Support smooth and efficient lunch line operations
• Collaborate with school staff, volunteers, and student helpers
• Step in to support additional needs as they arise
