K- 5th GRADE MUSIC TEACHER 2026-2027 – Full- Time

St. Croix Catholic School in Stillwater, MN is seeking a K- 5th Grade Music Teacher for 2026-2027 teaching grades K-5.

Job Purpose:  The different instructional and non-instructional roles that a teacher plays should be permeated by a Christ-like orientation which is seen daily in what the teacher says and does in his/her classroom environment and in the larger school community. 

Representative Responsibilities:

1. Instructs children in the teachings of the Catholic Church by word and example.
2. Establishes the teaching of religion and the internalization of the life of virtue as the highest
   priority of the school.
3. Prepares and coordinates musical performances of students including but not limited to Advent programs, Grandparents’ Day performances, and concerts
4. Collaborates with parish on planning school Masses and processions
5. Engages the student(s) in learning through the preparation of lesson plans that respond to a variety of learning styles, incorporating technology when applicable.
6. Plans interesting and varied approaches when presenting content and materials
7. Attempts to meet individual needs through individualized or small group instruction

1. Possess the knowledge and passion for the unique needs of elementary school learners.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education preferred.
3. Current state of Minnesota teachers license preferred.
4. Experience preferred
5. Complete background check, code of conduct, and Virtus training once hired.
