Math Interventionist

Frassati Catholic Academy (FCA) in White Bear Lake, Minnesota is currently seeking a Math Interventionist for the 2025-26 school year.

We aim to initiate students into the great story of salvation, and truthfully introduce them to the whole of reality. We seek to form them and assist them in locating themselves in God’s great story, in order to give themselves over to Him and thereby achieve fulfillment.

Hours/Wage Range/Benefits:

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm (negotiable)

Wage Range: $25,000 - $45,000 (based on Education & Experience)

Some responsibilities Include:

1. Provides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for math services in individual, and/or small group settings.
2. Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement of Frassati’s math standards. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects using formal and informal assessment data obtained from students.
3. Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
4. Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, school policy, administrative guidelines, or specific program requirements.
5. Conducts student assessments to identify those eligible for intervention services, to plan instruction, and/or to assist staff members in learning various assessment techniques. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.

The ability to contribute to a culture of: (1) faith in Christ and His Church that is mature, informed, accountable, and dynamically missionary; (2) respect for the dignity, freedom, responsibility, and social vocation of the human person made in God’s image; and (3) human excellence reinforced through high, yet reasonable expectations for learning and for virtuous interactions among all members of the school community.
Strong classroom management skills, balancing classroom structure with rapport in working with kids.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in elementary education, or a related field.
Two or more years of teaching experience preferred, but not required.
