Science Teacher

About the Role

The Science Teacher will deliver engaging, rigorous instruction in science coursework that helps students develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role plays a key part in fostering academic excellence while integrating Catholic values into classroom instruction.

What You’ll Do

• Teach Chemistry and other science courses based on school need
• Create engaging lessons that connect scientific concepts to real-world applications and ethical considerations grounded in Catholic values
• Encourage inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking through hands-on learning
  Support and mentor students in academic growth and scientific exploration
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a strong, mission-driven school community

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field
• Teaching license or ability to obtain licensure (per school/diocesan requirements)
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
• Strong communication skills and a passion for student learning and discovery

Preferred Qualifications

• High school teaching experience
• Experience teaching one or more science disciplines
• Willingness to support or moderate science-related clubs, labs, or extracurricular activities

Salary Range:

$45,000-$65,000– Depending on qualifications and experience.
