Custodian

Transfiguration is seeking a Custodian to maintain the Transfiguration campus in a manner that provides a safe and healthy physical environment for staff, students, parishioners and visitors.  This includes keeping the building, equipment and grounds clean and in good working order and identifying projects that are necessary to keep the building, equipment and grounds clean and in proper working order.

Position may be full time or part time, depending on availability of candidate.  Pay range is $25-30/hour and will be determined based on experience.

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate skills in custodial and maintenance work.
• Knowledge or experience of basic electrical, carpentry, and/or plumbing skills.
• Possess and maintain a valid and appropriate boiler license, or a willingness to obtain one.
• Must be able to work independently to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
• Successfully complete the Essential 3 requirements – Virtus training, background check, and Code of Conduct.
• Ability to communicate positively with Transfiguration leadership, administration, parishioners and the broader community and to work in a team as a member of the Transfiguration staff.
