7-12 English Teacher

Holy Trinity School, a PreK–12 Catholic school located in Winsted, MN, is accepting applications for a full-time 7–12 English teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. The position may also include teaching history and/or theology. The ideal candidate will be passionate about literature and writing, committed to the intellectual and spiritual formation of adolescents, and dedicated to upholding the values of the Catholic faith. This is an excellent opportunity to guide students through the rich tradition of the liberal arts within a supportive, faith-filled community.

Qualifications:

• Actively practicing Catholic

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field

• Valid teaching license/certification preferred

• Experience teaching at the middle or high school level, ideally within a Catholic or classical liberal arts setting

• Strong content knowledge in literature, writing, and grammar; experience in history or theology is a plus

• Understanding of effective instructional methods, student engagement strategies, and assessment tools for secondary education

• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to foster a respectful, challenging, and faith-centered learning environment

• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in school community life
