4th Grade Teacher

We are seeking a  4th grade teacher to join our team of joyful and faithful teachers at Saint Raphael Catholic School! Our classical school is family-centered and passionate about our Catholicism. Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to school standards
• Build strong relationships with students and families, providing ongoing communication and support
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that integrates faith, values, virtues, current standards, and real-world experiences
• Foster a safe and welcoming environment that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all students
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in best practices in education

Actively contribute to the life of the school community, including participation in school-wide events, committees.

A strong candidate will have: 

• BA/BS degree in education or a related field a teaching certification preferred
• Faithful and dynamic Catholic
• Classroom experience working with young students is preferred
• Engage and inspire all students, honoring their diverse strengths and challenges
• Strong communication and organizational skills, particularly  to support effective engagement with parents
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and productive class environment 
• Successfully pass background checks
